Military and Overseas Voters
The ‘MOVE’ Act and the 2009 Assembly Bill 41 now provides a method for Electronic Transmission Ballots to be used by Armed Forces personnel, their spouses and dependents, and overseas citizens. Additionally, the 2013 Assembly Bill 175 will allow military and overseas voters to submit voter registration applications and absentee ballots with an electronic or digital signature.
Voters can receive the appropriate balloting materials via mail, fax or email. Once the materials are received by the voter, they can mark their selections on the blank ballot, sign the Oath of Voter and then return both the ballot and oath to the Clerk’s office by mail, fax or by an email with both documents scanned and attached.
Please visit the Federal Voting Assistance Program to obtain information on how to apply to vote or contact our office.
